Best lens I ever had for visiting aquarium or museum.

Very good lens. Better than the heavier 10-24. I sold it because of the awkward stupid design. I miss it because Fujifilm insists in not making a prime wider than14mm.

Joseph, I personally find the 10-24mm to be adequate for my needs, but would love a weather-sealed version of it. Also, a fast prime from Fuji wider than 14mm would be nice, but haven’t seen anything in the works.

I had one for a few years on my Xpro, its an ok lens but after a while it was just not one of my go to landscape lenses, is it possible a lens is “too wide” and my answer was yes, if I need something wide, my Fuji 14mm seems to fill the need well.

Stan, an 18mm FF equivalent prime is certainly not for everyone – makes it tough to shoot unless you know how to use wide-angle lenses. That’s probably why Fuji never made any prime wider than 14mm, as there is little demand for a lens like that. Personally, I would love to see a Fuji-branded fast prime for astro work though.
