I like this lens a lot, my only issue is that it focuses only to 0.7m but I would like to get closer. I am using some achromatic close up lenses with quite excellent results but it is not as convenient than being able to focus closer

That is one of the downsides of it. And lens magnification doesn’t go as far on medium format, so it’s definitely not a near-macro lens.

How about the 2 x 9mm?

I wouldn’t mind investing much in a Hasselblad kit like the X2D and this lens but I’m so used to Capture One that I’m too lazy to start with Lightroom or another raw photo development program

You need to convert Hasselblad files to DNG or TIFF if you want to use them in Capture One, which is a goofy limitation. And likewise, Hasselblad’s Phocus software doesn’t accept Phase One files. A stupid decision by both companies.

Unfortunately C1 does NOT accept converted DNGs. And the TIFFs atme extremely big files ๐Ÿ˜ก

Try this out: support.captureone.com/hc/en…-DNG-Files

I believe there are ways to make it work, but I don’t use Capture One and can’t test it myself – you may need to fool Capture One into thinking it’s not a Hasselblad file.
