After this glowing review and the known weak Nikon autofocus system why aren’t you a Canon shooter?

Nasim – I watched your review on youtube and read through this one. Thank you for such an in-depth and honest review on this camera, knowing you shoot Nikon. I’ve shot Nikon since the film days and Fujifilm most recently. Wanting to get back into full frame, your review convinced me that the r6 would be the best choice for me due to its focus tracking, IBIS and ergonomics. Just ordered the r6ii – thank you!

I like the last picture, with the small bridge on the front and the buildings further away. Is this how the picture came out of the camera or do you apply photo editing? If so, what?

I need some serious recommendations. Time has come in life when I can think about my hobbies and passion. So, I am a novice. My interest is landscaping photography. I am looking to buy my first good camera. There are so many reviews to get overwhelmed, dslr vs mirrorless, z6 vs z7, d750 vs d810 vs d850 and then comes the budget part. I can’t change camera every year so I am looking for a camera that’s not too old in technology and can stay another 3/4 years. One camera and one or two lenses to begin my passion towards landscaping photography. It would be rather economical to spend money now than upgrading next year or so.

I know that you can’t make a decision for me but a few short list would go a long way for me making a decision. Thanks in advance.

As a Canon scooter 5D mark 4 with lots of EF lenses the R5 and R6 look good.
I’ve never used them, should rent both of them and try them out.
I wish the R6 would have slightly more pixels.
But it looks like it has the 1DX mark 3 sensor.

The best review for my needs that I’ve seen in any camera

Hi, I am Erkki from Finland and Ive been using R6 since last september.I photograph birds and this camera makes mostly the work easy maybe even to easy.It nails to birds eye and you can compose your shot. On certain situations dsrl:s work better for instance if there are obstacles in front of the bird or the birds move fast on tree branches. You can assign the buttons to rapidly chance the af mode. Ive been photographing birds since 2007 in both dark and white camps and this r6 is really a game changer. But still I have not sold all my dsrl,s.

Alll the latest camera’s from Nikon, Canon, Fuji and Sony are so good right now…
All te latest lenses of these systems are very good as well…
Also the sensors in these systems have a great DR and are capable of producing superb photographs.
One must have a special reason to buy one or another another system/lens.
Weakest link will be you the photographer.
I have a d850 and its image quality is still up with the new league of mirrorless.
I have very nice lenses too.

So here we are : best lenses and camera’s and our main output is … the web!
That is what is missing… a decent stage.

Notes
– The RF mount is not larger than the EF mount.
– The Drop-In adapter is 0.7 mm longer, if you want to shoot without a filter at ∞, you need the clear filter.
