I have used both and the Canon isn’t a patch on Nikon’s fl version. It will be interesting to see how Sigmas new version compares!

Not sure that this lens is old (wasn’t it released in 2017-2018?), but I do agree that there is much valued added by objectively comparing it (i.e., let’s see Imatest charts) to other current lenses, such as the Tamron 70-200 as well as the Canon predecessor.

This is a great lens. But what is the value of posting a review of an old lens without comparing it to to the present alternatives such as III och Tamrons G2? I so no added value with this article over any old 70-200 II review that can be found on th Internet. It is perfectly fine to review an old lens again, bit it should be compared to the present competition to be relevant.
