I feel a special connection to this lake because my family often visits and goes on walks here. Here I took some of my first photos, and later some of my best. I’m an amateur. There are paved paths all around the lake, so there are plenty of places to photograph! My favorite times to go are in the late evening, and I love to photograph twilight and sunset here, for the lake reflection of the mountains is amazing! It is best gone to on semi-rainy days, overcast days, and, in the evening, slightly cloudy days for photographing. The clouds often add a great sense of depth and character to the photos taken here. The best seasons to go are in late Autumn, late Winter, and early Spring. It truly is a great place!
