This place is the reconstitution of an old village, where people are "living" as in 1830s. You can meet and discuss with a shoe-maker, a printer, a soldier, a banker, farmers, etc... It is in the Sturbridge city in Massachussetts. Here is the website to visit. You must have a car to go there.
Photo Spot Details
Since this place is in New England, the best place to go is late September during the foliage period. By going at that time, in addition of making nice pictures of the place by itself, you will have the red-orange-yellow colors in the trees. I would bring a wide-angle lens such as a portrait lens. Be sure to take time to talk with the people there. The visit can easily take 3 to 4 hours.
