Lyon is easily reached by car or by train. This specific neighborhood is on the East of the Saone river at the "Vieux Lyon" metro station, around the "Cathedrale Saint-Jean".
Photo Spot Details
Lyon is the 2nd or 3rd biggest city in France and is located near the Alps. The “Vieux Lyon” neighborhood is a medieval part of the city and is quite unique (listed as a part of the World Heritage of Unesco). The “cathédrale St-Jean” is impressive, and if you go inside be sure to have a look at the astronomic clock at the end right. I especially enjoy going in this (quite and safe) neighborhood by night with my tripod. You can have walk to the top of the Fourviere hill to enjoy the viewpoint behind the basilica.
