Directions

Take Grote St, Montefiore Rd and War Memorial Dr to City Ring Rte/Park Terrace/A21 in Ovingham. Take Port Wakefield Rd/National Highway A1, National Hwy M20 and National Highway A20 to Egerton St/Murraylands Rd in Blanchetown.

Photo Spot Details

You’re best bet is to get out on the river on a houseboat, these can be hired in many places. The river has many aesthetically interesting and photographic spots, I’ve just focussed on Blanchetown. There are lots of dead trees poking out of the water which makes for a nice, moody scene when the weather’s dreary, but it can be far more beautiful on a sunny day and at dusk.
