You can drive to go there if you have a car (the place is at Roosevel Avenue and E Bonner Avenue). When I went there I didn't have a car so I took a bus from downtown San Antonio, it took ~30minutes.
Photo Spot Details
This is an old hispanic mission. The church is very nice, and there are nice photographic opportunities given by the shadows of the building. You don’t need any specific gear, you will probably go there during day light. However it is perhaps wise to have a wide-angle lens. It may be crowded during summer time.
