Photo Spot Details

This location in Yellowstone is very least photographed unless you get into the park from South entrance. It is out of the way from Grand Loop road for people driving from other entrances to miss this spot.

Photography Tips

Use Tripod, CPL and ND filters to slow down the shutter speed to get the silky smooth waterfalls and reduce reflections. You can also cross the bridge and go to the area where the trees are in the left and walk on dead trees over the river. The featured image was shot at 200mm and I did focus stacking in Photoshop to get the entire frame in focus as possible. The best times to photograph is sunrise or sunset as you would capture the sun glow on the trees.
