Photo Spot Details
Million dollar highway considered one of the dangerous and narrow scenic bypass you could take in San Juan Mountains area. As I drove this area in the afternoon scouting for locations I found this area too interesting to not miss for sunset. I wanted to show how the road turns into a horse shoe bend and the cars moving along with nice sunset and fall colors on Aspen trees.
The shot was taken from one the brackets NIKON D750 + 24mm f/1.4 @ 24mm, ISO 50, 4/10, f/11.0 and I took another couple of shots after the sunset for two one minutes to get the car trails nice and bright. No filters used in this shot. I hope you enjoy this location and don’t drive the road like its Monaco ;)
