Photo Spot Details
Digha and Tajpur are two sea-side towns along the southern coast of West Bengal, the eastern state of India. The best time to visit is between October and February. Both the places survive primarily on tourism and there is no restriction to photography.
Early mornings or late evenings are the best time for shooting. Sunsets are very beautiful at both the towns. Digha has two parts : Old and New. Old Digha is more suitable if you want to shoot mostly the sea, while new Digha is more populous and more useful if you want to shoot people and the sea. Tajpur is less populous than Digha and has an expansive virgin beach. During low tide one can walk quite deep into the sea.
