This place is in Panama. Getting here is a bit tricky as you need a very good off-road car or you'll have to walk for about 45 minutes. To get here you'll need to go in the Panamerican Highway and when you are in Bejuco you have to turn right in the Texaco gas station and afterwards just follow the road for 10 KM. You have to turn in a dirt road that has a small small ranch at the left side and then either leave your car because of the big boulders on the road or continue until you see a place where the dirt road turns a bit bigger that looks like a parking lot (its still dirt) and then you go down a small trail that leads to the canyon and river.

I would recommend going here in dry season (Panama only have wet and dry season) because in wet season the river grows and could be dangerous. I had to leave panama city very early to get there and arrived around noon, stayed there for two hours so I can’t say much about hours but mind that you have to walk back up if you don’t have a very good off-road vehicle so I wouldn’t wait for the sunset. I loved this spot, I went there with my girlfriend and we plunged into the river and it was all very calm.
