Sensor Gel Stick Sale – While Supplies Last!

By Nasim Mansurov 31 Comments
Published On April 1, 2021

After many years of selling the Sensor Gel Stick, I decided it is time to move it off Photography Life. With Amazon constantly undercutting our sales (and often selling fake copies), it has been tough to keep the product available, and I just don’t want to deal with the inventory, customer service, and shipping issues that come up from time to time. Plus, we are storing a large database of customer data that constantly needs to be updated and kept safe, something I do not want to deal with in the future. So, we are launching our “mega sale” of the Sensor Gel Stick with a 25% discount, while supplies last. I will support any customer who purchases the Sensor Gel Stick for 30 days after they buy it, after which they are on their own.

Sensor Gel Stick

So if you have a camera that needs its sensor cleaned, or you have previously purchased this product and need the latest and greatest version, or perhaps you need a fresh supply of Sticky Paper, then check out our sale! And by the way, we do recommend that you replace the Sensor Gel Stick after 3 years of use. With time, the surface of the stick can get hard or ineffective, so it is best that you replace it.

As usual, if you shoot with a Sony, Fuji or Leica camera, we recommend that you buy the Sony version of the Sensor Gel Stic, and if you use a Nikon, Canon or any other brand, then the regular blue version is a little cheaper. The good news is, the latest version of the Sony version is universal, so you can use it on any camera!

Please note that the supply is currently very limited, with less than 150 units total.

We might offer the product in the future using a different platform, but we don’t have an ETA yet. We will let you know via an announcement.

David, I shipped the first batch, and then caught COVID :( I’m not going to ship until I am out of quarantine, since I don’t want to touch anything with my hands that go out to customers while being sick. Plus, I’m ordered to be at home by my county…

My apologies for the wait!

Nassim, I don’t want to annoy you, for I do admire your work and work ethics, but Nikon Australia when I asked them about the said gel stick replied back they don’t know them and therefore don’t recommend them for cleaning at all????!!!!!! What’s on??
Best regards,

Waldemar

Nassim, As my home address has been rejected while trying to buy ‘sensor gel stick’ from your site, could you please provide a link to the German company who makes these sticks? I tried to find them on google and came across with this: www.eyelead.eu but when you try to ‘shop’ on their site ….. Amazon site opens!!!!???? Would you mind??? THANKS.

Hi Nasim
I purchased a gel stick many years ago when you first started selling them. I’ve used it on several cameras and really liked it. About a year ago I tried it on my D850 and didn’t get the same results as I had in the past. I assumed it was because the sensor was different that D810 + D800 before it. Is it possible it has simply gotten too old work as well as previously? I noticed that is stuck to the sensor a little more than others and that it left lines on the edges. I honestly really loved this product and would love to purchase another if there are any left but want to be sure it will work similar to when I first started using it.

Darrell, your stick probably got too old, so I would highly recommend to replace it. With time, the surface of the gel becomes too hard, especially if you don’t use it for long.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately it looks like you have sold out. Will the Sony version work with Nikon sensors (which I guess are built by Sony) or would you not recommend using it on them?

Yes, the Sony version is backwards-compatible, so it will work on Nikon as well.
