Latest Deals and Nikon 1 V2 Pre-Order Links

Looks like B&H is already getting ready for the holidays, with some great deals on high-end Canon and Fuji cameras. The Canon 5D Mark II has a huge drop in price while supplies last – it is now $1,699, which makes it the cheapest full-frame DSLR on the market today. The Canon 5D Mark III has also been reduced to $3,199, which finally brings it closer to the Nikon D800 in pricing. On top of that, the Fuji X-100 is now $200 off, bringing it down to $999 (regular price is $1,199). And if you have been buying cameras like D600 and need plenty of storage, you might need some good cheap memory – the Transcend 64GB SDXC memory is selling for $49. If you need faster cards, the Lexar CF and SD cards are also heavily discounted until the end of this month.

    Hi Nasim,

Is mirrorless not just a step backwards? I have a bridge camera that I can adjust most of the settings as on the Nikon 1. My DSLR will be well below you but I get great images out of it and for me mirrorless just seems like a step backwards! I have the Nikon D3200, was going for the cheaper D3100 but as I wanted to cover landscape and print my pictures in large format I thought the extra 10 million pixels would help me.

I would like to thank you for your frequent blog posts and articles, your passion for your art is truely inspirational.

    All the very best,

My wife and I are photo enthusiasts…. We love taking photos of our kids in sporting events, portraits and some landscape. we considering making the move to FX… We currently have a D90 and are looking to move to the d600. Given the information above, should we be considering the Mark II from Canon at 1600. Lenses are not sn issue as well have to mostly upgrade anyway to FX.
