I wish the unread posts would jump to where I left off reading rather than going to the first post.
Or is there an easy way to view the first unread message? I've been experimenting, but it seems to always jump to the first post of a topic rather than the first unread post, so I have to read through everything I've already read to find where I left off.
Not sure it's what you're looking for but there is a "Last Post" link in the header of each thread. So when you click and go to the thread, you just click on this link and it will lead you to the end of it.
@pierre-lagarde Yes it goes to the last post but other forums go to the first one I have not read, skipping over all that I've already read. The last post in a thread might be far past the spot I left off at. The way it seems to be here is I can click "unread" from the home screen and it displays those threads that have content I've not seen, but when I click one of those topics it jumps to the first post in that topic. So I have to scroll through what I've already read, or click 'last post' then scroll back to find my spot. I'd like it to bookmark me.
I know it's possible because other threads, for example BCG have a 'new' button that displays threads with content new to me, then when a thread is clicked it jumps to where I left off in that thread.
I'm thinking maybe I haven't figured out how to do that here.
Yes, I understand that it would be easier if it goes right to the first unread post of a thread of course. Though, going to the last post may be faster than reading/scrolling in all the thread again, and that's why I suggested it.
However, you may ask Nasim or Spencer directly if it's possible, I can only help by user's suggestions.
Thanks for the idea. It would be better if there are several pages of replies, I agree. I assume they are monitoring this section since it is for site feedback.
