Forum discussions sorting

I've been a regular user of the weekly challenge forum for a while and I was scrolling through other discussions that, at first glance, were looking outdated, although I love the photo of the dog through the gate. Then it hit me: the discussions in the weekly challenge forum are sorted in reverse order (last first) but the posts inside the discussions are sorted in normal order (last last). And I could not find a way to sort the discussions in the forum.
Is it possible to automatically sort the posts in all discussions in reverse order? That would make them more lively and I bet it it would bring more posts.
