Hi Guys,

I cannot seem to find any way to edit a post after it has been posted - I hate spelling and grammatical errors. Is this something that you will be introducing?

Thanks,

Peter

Hey @nikonpete, I’ve seen some users edit their posts already so far - you should see an Edit button under your posts, but you might only get that feature after making a certain number of posts. Or maybe it’s not available on the first post of a thread. Sorry that I don’t have a more specific answer, maybe Nasim knows more. But we do intend for people to be able to edit their posts if they notice a typo. Let me know once you get it working for you.

I have the same problem.

Struggling with the posting procedure I overlooked a few typos. Further, I am no native English speaker and will often want to correct misspelling or grammar.

Yet, I can't find an edit icon.

You can edit your post, but only within the first 5 minutes. This is done to prevent people from writing something, then completely erasing it to support their clause. I can increase the timer to something more suitable, if it helps, but I cannot remove the limit.

Let me know!

I'd say an hour or whatever the max is. Sometimes after reflection  I think I could have worded something differently.

@megaz I think an increase would be good. I think 15 minutes would be good but, as @w2w3 stated above, perhaps a full hour due to members who's first language is not English.
