The main content area for forums seems narrow on my PC.
Being on a 4k monitor, 700/3840 = 20% of my screen width is used.
Maybe instead of exact pixels you can use another measurement ( % ) or fit-content?

I’ve experimented with variable width content before and encountered many issues with formatting of reviews and other site content, so I had to keep it at fixed value instead.
Wider width translates to larger images and more CSS code, which all translate to slower loading speeds.
I would suggest increasing the scale of your screen, so that the site content does not appear minuscule…
