You've got some nice shots there, Darin. I like what you did with the colors in the first one! I would recommend experimenting more with backgrounds. In your shots, you've got a lot of colors in the background that are close to the colors in the plants and sometimes that sort of thing can reduce the emphasis on the subject.

Backgrounds are indeed challenging because I do not photograph in a studio, but "on location" :-) So I am trying different angles, different weather/light, different time of day, to further improve the photos. It helps that the locations are not far from home, so I can keep experimenting... I will continue to work on this!
