Sellwood Bridge, Portland OR. Two views, one upright, the other inverted. I enjoy working with reflections in water surfaces (no shortage of those in the Pacific Northwest!). I frequently take a reflected image and then invert it. You get interesting effects. The risk, always, is looking gimmicky.
The "normal" one looks like an X, the other like an eye :-) In this case I prefer the upright one.

It's funny, but -purely personal preference - I usually don't care for symmetry...and yet, in the first shot, the bridge and reflection are symmetrical...but the background isn't. The treeline tapers on the left.
