Schloss Nordkirchen is a palace situated in the town of Nordkirchen in the state of North Rhine Westphalia, Germany. The schloss was largely built between 1703 and 1734 and is known as the "Versailles of Westphalia" since it is the largest of the fully or partly moated Wasserschlösser in that region. It was originally one of the residences of the Prince-Bishopric of Münster.

All shots with Nikon Z6 & Voigtländer 35mm f/2 Apo-Lanthar Z.
Would love to see a lens review of some of the Cosina/Voigtländer Z-mount line-up in photographylife in the future.

Thank you very much!
This is the last panorama from the series, but since it is a place close to my home, I visit the castle and the parks surrounding it every now and then at different times of the year and light moods, I will try to continue the thread here with interesting perspectives, different focal lenghths and light moods.

I have only seen this one from a straight frontal perspective so far, so it's nice to get some different views and unusual angles on it. Also very nice mood captures!
Lovely light on the images Vento. Had the pleasure to visit Nordkirchen in 2015 after leaving the Nurburgring. Is it still a University? Took this picture with a Panasonic ZT70, not a patch on the Z6 ;-) Evening light would have been so much better.
Thank you all!
Yes it is still a University of Applied Science for Finances.
Around it you have nice apartments and a cafeteria for the students.
Unfortunately, the front of the castle is no longer illuminated at night, positive in terms of energy savings, but a pity for us photographers.
Especially now in summer a wonderful place to stroll.
The whole atmosphere of the place, the wide parks, the statues as shown in your picture, the neatly trimmed boxwood hedges and the breath of history that envelops you in this place.

This summer there is also the Music Festival again after the covid years, a wonderful event.
People (whole familys with grandparents and grandchildren) bring folding chairs and folding tables, a large picnic basket with goodies, and most importantly, a least one candlestick for each table.
The scenery that emerges after sunset, when 7000 people enjoy their picnic in the palace grounds, a state orchestra plays Mozart, people dancing the waltz and at the end a large fireworks display concludes the event.
To keep the thread alive from time to time, a few more pictures of other castles/moated castles from my region, known for its 100 castles and palaces route.

I like ghem all!
Really beautiful photos @vento! I like them all, and the black and white panorama you just shared is really stunning in particular.
Thank you very much, I appreciate it!
The black & white picture was a multi-row panorama, 3 rows, 5 shots each row.
The fun of such panoramas has also increased significantly with the acquisition of the Cosina / Voigtlander 35mm f/2 Apo-Lanthar Z last year.
The Apo Lanthar is just unbelievable fun in photographic areas/tasks of this kind, where it really shines, so much that it already has an addictive character.
Actualy I enjoy going out with the Apo-Lanthar and my "Novoflex VR-Slim System" for panoramas/multi-row panos signifikant more, even if the task requires wider angles of view, than taking the Z 14-30mm f/4 S.
Although only with the resolution of a Z6, the level of fine details of such a panorama in full size with the CV 35/2 AL is jaw dropping.
If time permits at some point in the future, a review of one of the Cosina / Voigtlander Apo-Lanthars, now natively available for the Z-mount, whether 35mm, 50mm or 65mm, would be most welcome.
All in all, they are amazing lenses for photographic tasks like this, especially with superb resolution wide open across the field and a very high level in terms of optical corrections/correction of color abberations.
