In early spring our weather can be '4 seasons in a day'. On this day snow showers were predicted so after my meetings were concluded I drove to a place where I knew there would be Red deer stags. After a couple of hours in the pouring rain I almost gave up hope. Then, within a couple of minutes the rain turned to snow (that in itself was an interesting experience) and I could taken some shots that I have been wanting to take for years

Persistence is key I guess, the reward can be great. Great photo, the snowfall sure adds to the mood of the scene.
Great way to test the weather resistance of the camera and lens......but it looks like it was worth it.😛
Lovely shot.
