Part of expanding the "toolbox" is experimenting with new technique. Lately I've been working with intentional camera motion (ICM) in various urban and rural settings. Hand-in-glove with ICM is experimentation with color grading. Here are a few of my bluish efforts ...
They all have an eerie quality about them, especially the train tracks. Cool effect!
Something different.
Something I want to practice more too. Great examples, I like the color grading on all three photos 👍
Reminds me of something we used to do with film in the middle of the woods on a nice bright day. Take a meter reading with a small aperture, set shutter speed, cock self timer, push the button then swing the camera around by the neckstrap until the shutter opened and closed. Some interesting results.
Super cool images, especially the train tracks. Looks fun.
If someone told me about this, I'd think "well....uh....ok....I guess" but actually having seen it, it's pretty cool!
Great experimentation. They have an impressionistic effect, lovely!
