I Like this picture but there is no need to produce a light star.

@ineluki Thank you. I don't know how to produce a light star. How is this done in LR or PS?
Every lens makes between 9 till 18 aperture a light star (depende on the lens). Maybe you took this picture inside this range.

@light2pixl, I think that's an excellent photo! I like the "sunstar" effect too. You could always tone it down in post-processing if you don't like it. In the field, there isn't an easy way to avoid the sunstar effect, except by shooting at wider apertures like f/2.8 (which may not be a good idea in terms of image quality).
@spencer, thank you. I am aware of how the aperture can influence the star effect on lights. It's just something I have never put into practice or intentionally tried to create.
@light2pixl I sometimes put effort into achieving a sunstar effect, but I don't think I have ever put effort the opposite direction! I like the look you achieved here and wouldn't change it, personally.
I don't mind the sunstar either - I think it works well in this image: it gives a bit of balance to the image (otherwise left hand side would maybe a bit too dark?) and it kind of tells the viewer: look at this cozy location!
