Pic I

Where Am I

took of a Darter at sunset on the Canning River in Perth. Like an iceberg, 90% of the bird is under water. Composition is rubbish as it is dead centre but i did like the sunset oil colours on the water. Have not sen that for a long time since.

Forget about composition rules. This is epic ! :D

Maybe you could try to crop it a bit more at the bottom but I'm not even sure...

Photography is a form of art. There are no rules in art. Don't let anyone tell you different!

Nice shot by the way.

Nice photo, the reflections make it unique.

One of the first things I 'learned' was to not have your subject in the center because it would look boring (or whatever). But over time I did enjoy images more when the subject is in the center (maybe not exactly at 0,0 but close to) since it gives a clear direction to what the images is about. It's just a style or preference, there's no wrong or right.

I really like your image, subject is clear and the surrounding colors are what make this photo different to others. Really nice!
