took of a Darter at sunset on the Canning River in Perth. Like an iceberg, 90% of the bird is under water. Composition is rubbish as it is dead centre but i did like the sunset oil colours on the water. Have not sen that for a long time since.
Forget about composition rules. This is epic ! :D
Maybe you could try to crop it a bit more at the bottom but I'm not even sure...
Photography is a form of art. There are no rules in art. Don't let anyone tell you different!

Nice photo, the reflections make it unique.
One of the first things I 'learned' was to not have your subject in the center because it would look boring (or whatever). But over time I did enjoy images more when the subject is in the center (maybe not exactly at 0,0 but close to) since it gives a clear direction to what the images is about. It's just a style or preference, there's no wrong or right.
I really like your image, subject is clear and the surrounding colors are what make this photo different to others. Really nice!
