So far, no one has produced a 500+mm f/4 that's <= 2.5kg. However, given the weight reduction Nikon and Sony have done with their superteles at 600mm, I think a 500mm f/4 at 2.5kg might be possible... | ||

Tamron 150-500 seems to be your better bet with what you said... Or if you have the budget, Z400mm F/4.5 + TC 1.4. But I'm not objective as I really love this combo and the lens alone. | ||

Welcome Maharaï.Indeed, with too wider aperture primes, you probably will not need something heavier and more expensive than the 24-120.Maybe you could check for sharpness of each solution to take... | ||
