This week's challenge theme is water. Post your results here! Also, please note that we'll be featuring some of the challenge results and the new theme with the Friday news article, rather than in a separate post. The reason is that there are so many posts now, we thought it might be easier to find everything in one place!
We are also putting the Raw editing challenge on hold for now, just because fewer people were interested in it -- it seems to be more interesting if everyone has a different photo! Thanks and I'm sorry if there is any confusion!
I'm sorry for this decision!

No worries - I already don't have the time to edit all my raw photos, let alone someone else's ;-) :-) Btw, I don't see the Friday Challenge/Result article? (and it's already saturday past midday here in the Netherlands)

Traces...on the water
The lake is the Maschsee in Hanover, Germany. This was a very calm evening, we were walking along the promenade on the lakeside when I noticed this single guy calmly rowing on the lake and managed to capture him in this central composition.
This is one of my favourite shots. I love the gradients, the patterns and shapes in the water, the mood.
@kwongphotographyhotmail-com Amazing shot!
Couldn't use just one. Peyto lake in Alberta which I took on my trip in summer of 2022 and the St-Lawrence gulf in Riviere-du-loup which I took last week.
I have to say that Peyto lake was one of the most impressive body of water I have ever seen in my life. That glacier water is just stunning when you've never seen it before.
