Cave Point County Park, Door County, Wisconsin, USA. Rocky shoreline of Lake Michigan.
Visible rock is part of the Niagara formation which extends from Wisconsin to Niagara Falls. Beautiful, small county park surrounded by Whitefish Dunes State Park. This site known for its rocky shoreline features, the beautiful cold, blue waters and the sunrises over Lake Michigan.

Until today it's not totally clear, how the Inca did manage to fit the huge rocks in Sacsayhuamán in such a perfect way. All the stones are laid and joined with such delicacy that a rial could not be put in between two of them. Some of these stones are of a width of twelve feet and more than twenty long, others are thicker than a bullock.

Ok to have the photo from within the rock?! Well, cave then...
View from the Cave Window
This was an amazing view from within a local cave looking out on a tree in early spring. The colors were a bit more yellow due to the early spring foliage - so I adjusted the hue a bit. But what a view!

I'm tempted to tone down the greens a bit, but struggling with that decision ....
