I’ve been spending quite a bit of time lately at the Art Institute of Chicago. While there, I’ve noticed that people really relate to the giant Buddha. So I decided to spend an afternoon photographing people's interactions. This person was particularly inspired.
My principle - to shoot as close as possible to what I want to see. And I love using the picture control settings. Photoshop for final editing only.
One of my favorite Picture Controls is binary black and white. He turns an ordinary photo into an impression.
