Greenwood Conservation Area in late winter
Not a very original photo, but I had long wanted one of my own. Finally, in October of 2015, I found myself in the right place at the right time: rainy & foggy in the forest :-)
Nikon D810, AF-S Nikkor 24mm f/1.8G, 1/40 sec, f/8, ISO 800, -1.0 EC (Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia, October 2015) - cropped to 5:3 :-)

Panasonic G95, Laowa 10mm, f/2, 4/5 sec, ISO 25600 (!). I kind of liked the gnarly feel of the grain from the ridiculous ISO.
A forrest in the winter with fresh, white snow on the trees is such a quiet place.
Canon EOS 7D mark II, 24 mm, f/6.3, 1/200 sec, ISO 100
Have you ever wondered, why the forrest in the Amazonas area has the name "rain forrest"? It's raining there quite often and very heavy. And suddenly the way from a boat trip to spot some monkeys, back to our lodge, was a little bit difficult to pass. Luckily we were well equipped. And the camera survided the rain too.

A walk on New Years Day in a forrest nearby in the warm afternoon light.
