The sun is behond a thick pack of cloud. It is creating a glow behind my subject. The rest of the sky is very dramatic and that amplifies the mood in this image. These trees are all dead trees; they were burned during a very dry season. The area is quite popular amog photograhers, especialy during the winter time. But this location lends itself to other weather conditions as well. The are is called Noir Flohay and is located in the high fens in the Ardennes / Belgium. D850, ISO 64, f8, 1/13s, 24-70 f2.8 @ 55 mm.
