Hey guys, thanks for submitting your photos last week in the challenge. This week's challenge is 'unexpected': show us something that demonstrates the unexpected, or that was unexpected for you when you were out shooting!
Ghosts are coming...
Lions, with adult females in front and youngsters in the back, approaching cheetah and chasing them away in Serengeti (2 pics). Cheetahs noted silhouettes in the distance, but we were quite surprised.
Both shots: Nikon Z50, Tamron 150-600 mm G2 @600 mm, F/22, 1/2000 s.
This summer I visited a small lake in Carinthia/Austria for swimming. Suddenly this small ermine came out of the wood directly to the place, where my wife and me were lying in the grass near the beach. Luckily I had my camera bag with me and the ermine stayed so long, that I could take some pictures in the evening light. I have been there quite often in the last years and have never seen this sort of animal until this day. So it was totally unexpected, that I could take some wildlife photos while relaxing in the sun.

Two years ago I was in NYC for a week. On the last day we went down the broadway and suddenly I saw this strange musician. At the time, when I took this picture, I thought, that it was just a funny street scene. Later when I checked this image I found out, that I took unexpected a photo of a well-known person in NYC - The Naked Cowboy.

I did a walk in Kefalonia/Greece into the outback with the plan to take some bird pictures. Suddenely on a small hill I detected this object. No idea, how it came here and what was the reason, that it was placed on the top oft the hill.

Expected (what I was intending as the optimal setup)
Unexpected (what I accenditally shot before seeing something was... maybe right ;) )
