I’d love to know what camera, lens, and lighting equipment you use for product photography. Do you prefer continuous lighting, strobes, or natural light? How do you set up your lighting to avoid harsh shadows or reflections? Also, do you have any specific camera settings or post-processing tips that help enhance your product images? Looking forward to your insights!

For product photography, I typically use the Canon R6 Mark II or Fuji cameras with a sharp prime lens (e.g., 50mm or 100mm macro for close-ups and fine details). I prefer strobes over continuous lighting for full control, especially with the Godox AD300Pro or similar flashes for consistent output and versatility.

To avoid harsh shadows or reflections, I position softboxes or diffusion panels at 45-degree angles and sometimes use

I'm by no means a professional product photographer but indoors I always use strobes when I review equipment on PL. Hard to beat the intense IQ from all that light.

Ocasionally I use different reflective surfaces, front flash diffuser, wireless flash trigger, off camera TTL flash cord, one or two tripods and a flash ....of course, not all at once.

Hi, for fast shooting (huge volume), packshot style,  I can use continuous led diffused lights, when I have more time, I like use studio flash with modelling lights. All in Godox. All with good modellers, backgrounds, diffusers and reflectors. It takes time to get the right light.

I prefer a continuous light setup or use existing light with reflectors. I built my own light box using 1/2 inch pvc pipes and white background paper. It's just a pvc cube with open sides surrounded by white cloth and a light source.
