At least there is some good news. However, I wouldn’t trust Amazon in keeping DPR in “archive” mode indefinitely, since it will cost them money in the long-term. I tried to download some of the content… it is many terabytes of data. I suspect after a few years, DPR will cease to exist as a site without notice.
Howdy and just checking out the articles at the moment. My name is fairly obvious 😀 See you in the boards.
Thanks for that. In the back room you really need to reset the order of the thread's view for in the main forums, so the latest post goes to the top. A simple tick of the box would do it 😀

Hi there 🖐️ 👍 PL is my fav site since three years at least. Keep it up !
Thank you Nasim, Spencer, and the crew for having created this forum (and for the community guidelines you created). Very much looking forward to it.
Thank you Nasim for creating this forum for us. I am sure it will thrive.

Hi all,
Joined today, not because I'm looking for an alternative to DPR, but because I'm looking for a nice (online) place to share my photography interest with. I don't particularly like or use any of the standard social networks, but haven't really found anything else so far. I do/did post photos on 500PX and DeviantArt occasionally (well, sporadically really), but I started working on a personal website recently to try to do more with my photos.
I have enjoyed reading PL articles for a number of years now, so seeing the post about this new/rebooted forum, made me take the plunge to sign up (I'm a little wary of signing up everywhere and then never to return again :))
Anyway, let's see how this goes.
Cheers,
Ronald
Looking forward to participating.
Cheers,
Dennis
Glad to see this new forum. I haven't been on a photography forum for a while - since Planet Nikon shut down.

Welcome to the forum, @pierre-lagarde, @fabrice, @nikonlight, @ronaldsmeets, @dnazarenko, and @nikonpete! Glad to see you all here. Lots of familiar names from our comment section :)
Thanks for starting the new site. I'm excited to be a part, and I'm sure the site will uphold the same quality standards as everything PL does.

Hi all. Nice idea for a forum. It was difficult logging in, it wouldn't work with Opera on my Samsung tablet. Had to switch to chrome and that did the trick. Opera is a VPN, maybe that had something to do with it.
Welcome to all new members, and thank you for signing up!
I know there might be some issues here and there with signing up to the forum, but Spencer and I are here to help you guys out. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
Glad to see a new forum appear since others are disappearing along with most photography magazines.
