Hi. I'd like to introduce myself to the PL forum. I've been an avid photographer especially since the advent of digital. I'm a Nikon guy, primarily since when I went digital I was unhappy that Canon didn't allow me to use my older lenses on their new digital platforms. I've been delighted with Nikon ever since and am now shooting with a Z7ii.
I love travel photography of all kinds. My wife and I are fortunate enought to be able to travel extensively around the world, especually since we both retired. We often travel with National Geographic and so have been able to explore some amazing places. Much of our travel, and consequently my photography, involves nature, wildlife, landscapes, historic places, and cityscapes. I'm looking forward to getting to know folks with similar interests and sharing some of my images. Attached is a favorite landscape from a trip last year to the Atacama Desert in northern Chile, the highest, driest desert in the world, and one of the most amazing places we've explored.
Thanks
What an amazing place you captured! Welcome to the forum and the website, too. You must have seen some pretty amazing things over your travels. And the Z7 II is a great camera! Seems like most people around here are also Nikon shooters :)
Glad you could join, and I'm looking forward to seeing more shots of your exotic travels.
