For those who have Capture One 23 and don't want to upgrade before some sales ;)
Tested with Capture One 23 replacing "Z 5 II" values by "Z F" ones in just two tags :
Model
CreatorTool
You don't have to buy a newer version if you bought a Z5 II then ;)...
Unix command (I let Windows owners translate this in a cmd session) :
/usr/local/bin/exiftool -n -overwrite_original_in_place -CreatorTool="NIKON Z f Ver.02.00" -Model="NIKON Z f" Yourfile.NEF
Note : change 02.00 to 02.01 if you have last firmware version.
Nice idea. I guess that script you put there was for the Zf? In any case, it's crazy that the newer versions don't just check for this. Obviously to make you upgrade, haha.
@jpolakphotography It's actually for the Z5 II files, but sets tags as ZF tags for Capture One to process files as if they were from a ZF (Both have exact same sensor).
16.5.11 version have Z5 II in it, but you have to upgrade from Capture One 23 to have it.
Ah that makes sense! Cool hack. Hope a lot of people see this so they can avoid upgrading if it's not really necessary.
