I have just brought the Nikon Z8 and I am heading to Germany. Which lens would you go for. Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens or the 24-200mm f/4 S Lens .

24-120. For a high density sensor is the only choice.

If you google 'best travel lens' the top listing (depending on where you are) is a review on the nikon 28-300 yea its not a 2.8 lens but its cheaper if you can get it. I use it with a Z9 everything from interiors to wildlife and fashion.

My response is probably too late for you, but I agree with Mauro, the 24-120 F4. Better than I expected it to be. Couples well with and can take advantage of the higher-resolution sensor. Bokeh is meh, but everything else about it is positive for a single travel lens solution.
