I have just brought the Nikon Z8 and I am heading to Germany. Which lens would you go for. Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens or the 24-200mm f/4 S Lens .
24-120. For a high density sensor is the only choice.
You won't be disappointed
BRB,
My response is probably too late for you, but I agree with Mauro, the 24-120 F4. Better than I expected it to be. Couples well with and can take advantage of the higher-resolution sensor. Bokeh is meh, but everything else about it is positive for a single travel lens solution.
Personally, I use the 24-200mm on the Z8 and Z9 and I'm very happy with it. Granted, the 24-120 is optically better and faster, but the extra reach makes the 24-200 much more appealing for me, at least as a travel lens. And it's easily sharp enough for a 45 MP sensor.
On the other hand, if you do a lot of photography in low light situations, the 24-120 is definitely the better choice.
