** an important change for NX Studio users: from now on you will need to log in with your Nikon ID to use this program - it is the same Nikon ID currently used to access the Nikon Image Space and the Nikon Imaging Cloud; be prepared to agree with a ton of notices and to add & confirm an alternate email address **

Changes from Version 1.8.0 to 1.9.0:
- Added support for the Z5II.
- You now need to sign in with your Nikon ID. Register for Nikon ID if you do not own one.
- From this version onward, Nikon Message Center 2 will no longer be installed simultaneously with NX Studio. You can download version 2.5.2 from the Download Center and perform the update if you have already installed an older version.
- Fixed the following issues:
- When [Noise Reduction] was enabled, noise reduction would not be correctly applied if a different image was selected then the original image was reselected.
- Ring-shaped color bandings would occur when [Vignette Control] was applied for images taken using DX lenses.
- Spotted noise would appear on human skin parts when viewing images taken with DX lenses while both [Skin softening] and [Vignette control] were enabled on the camera.
That's harsh that you have to log in now. Totally unnecessary!
So far I only had to log in once - when I used the new version for the very first time.
It may be required for a seamless integration with the Nikon Imaging Cloud / Nikon Image Space...
I always use NX Studio as a first step in processing my NEFs, so I will report here if anything changes.
This seems ridiculous, but when I have no internet, I can't view/edit my photos anymore. I don't know who came up with this idea....
