Hey there just wanted to share a bit of good news to those who have Canon EF lenses and want a wider range of supported lenses with autofocus. The Viltrox EF-M1 is a great adapter that supports a much wider range of lenses than other AF adapters with its new version 4.0 firmware- it actually supports more lenses for AF than Viltrox states on their compatibility list (they need to update that when they do new firmware).
I couldn't find a single adapter that would support my G9 with AF using the Sigma 100-400C lens, and this one finally does! I tried four different adapters, including a $300.00 Urth adapter that stated it supported that lens on BH's site. Nope it does not.
Although the EF-M1 will not support continuous AF, it nails single AF. None of the adapters out there will support CAF on any of the m4/3 bodies from Panasonic that I'm aware of. They may for Oly bodies, but not sure.
Anyways my understanding is that this adapter supports a huge range of AF lenses now with the newest fw update and I've sent a message to Viltrox asking them to update it. Even their vendors don't know what I'm posting here.

That is interesting. I've been wondering about the viability of such an adapter with long telephoto lenses. Presumably the autofocus would be debilitating enough to make it not worth it, but how much exploration has been done mounting a 600mm lens on a m43 body?
I've not tried anything over 400mm yet. But others should chime in if they have!

Nice! I've had a bad experience wtih the Nikon to Micro four thirds Viltrox adapter so I'm glad to hear the Canon one is superior.
