Hello,
I currently use a Nikon D810 lens for shooting architecture - mainly with wide angle and tilt shift lenses. I use both the 24mm and 19mm Nikon PC- E lenses and recently have a repair in progress for the 24mm after it took a knock. At some point soon I am looking to replace camera and would be interested in any advice. At present I often use a loupe magnifier (that can be clipped on and off to a cover over the fixed screen of the D810) to review images but there does not seem to be many of these on the market which will work with the D850 or Z8 with moveable LCD screen... Can anyone recommend a product that will work? Mainly to review images outside and check details.
Also wondering what the advantage of an EVF is on the Z8 and whether it would be an advantage or disadvantage for general use. Some people have said you can review images on it and it will perhaps be better than my current set up using a magnifier to check forcus and review images but am not sure if it will be preferrable to optical viewfinder on d850 and would also need the FTZ adaptor for lenses to fit on Z8. I shoot video occasionally but generally the use of the camera is on a tripod with relatively slow shutter speeds and dont need too many fancy specs other than high image quality.
I suppose the Z8 would be better to future proof my set up, but wondered if anyone has any thoughts or know if any tilt shift lenses are planned for the Z system.
Thanks
