I recently had an opportunity to photograph one of the cutest creatures one could come a cross – a red fox kit. Actually, there were a few of them jumping around in the field, but this one in particular was very special – he was a super curious kit who did not mind my presence, as long as his mommy was nearby (and she was). It was a very special moment, as fox kits are somewhat rare to come by and they immediately disappear into their den when approached.
When mommy approached the den, the kit continued to show his curiosity by hiding behind and popping out occasionally to the click of my camera:
I photographed the foxes using my Nikon D700 and 300mm f/4 AF-S lens with the 1.4x teleconverter attached (an amazing combination by the way!).
