Nikon D7100 Pre-Order Links

I have just been notified that our friends at B&H are already accepting pre-orders for the Nikon D7100. Here are the links for the body-only and body+kit options:

Nikon D7100 Pre-Order Information

  1. Nikon D7100 Body Only for $1199 at B&H
  2. Nikon D7100 kit with Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G DX VR for $1599 at B&H

Given its impressive specifications, I expect the D7100 to sell really well with its $1,199 price. The expected availability of the D7100 is March 21, 2013.

Interesting post. I am just toiling for thoughts to upgrade from D300 to D600. I specialise in Newborn Baby photography, family, maternity. I’ve had major issues with ‘softness’ on my D300 and can’t stand it for much longer. Have had the camera checked, calibrated and all comes back ‘fine’ from Nikon. Have you ever heard of others having issues with focus/softness in D300?

    • Moira, perhaps the lens is the cause? Or maybe your technique? I used to own a D300 and it produced very sharp images for me…

Sure hope that B&H does a better job with D7100 preorders than they did with the D800 preorders … just saying.

    • I don’t think it will be as bad as the D800 was – typically Nikon makes a lot more lower-end DSLRs available at launch.
