Nikon D3200, 28mm f/1.8G and WU-1a Pre-Order Links

B&H Photo Video and Adorama are now taking pre-orders for the new Nikon D3200, Nikon 28mm f/1.8G and Nikon WU-1a wireless adapter. While D3200 is surely going to be popular among new photographers and the WT-1a is likely to be compatible with some future Nikon DSLRs, we expect the Nikon 28mm f/1.8G to be the hot seller. Just like the Nikon 50mm f/1.8G and the Nikon 85mm f/1.8G lenses, the Nikon 28mm f/1.8G should have a superb price/performance ratio.

D3200? They’ve already updated the D3000 and the D5000. Now a D7100 with an articulating LCD screen I could use.

Hi…just wondering your opinion in regards to a “normal” lens on a DX camera such as the D5100. A 28mm lens would give a focal length of 42mm…which can be considered normal. The 35mm 1.8G DX lens….has a focal length of 52.5mm….which is close to the traditional 50mm on an FX or Film camera. Would the 28mm 1.8G be worth considering on a D5100? Or based on the great value of the 35mm 1.8G DX…better to go that route? Thanks.
