Photography Life Review Summary: 24mm is an ideal focal length for landscape photography on an FX sensor – I use it more than any other focal length, because it is wide enough for most situations. The only annoyance that I found with this lens, was the fact that it is a prime lens and I had to move back and forth to frame my landscape shots, while I can simply zoom in and out with a wide-angle zoom lens. This is not a problem if you can easily move around, but certainly presents a limitation if you cannot move around for whatever reason.
