This page contains all hands-on, detailed Camera Reviews I have published so far. Most reviews are large, primarily due to comparisons against other cameras, and span across multiple pages for easier reading experience. While I spend a considerable amount of time testing cameras in a controlled lab environment, I realize that test charts only show one aspect of camera performance, which can sometimes be misleading due to many different factors. Therefore, my camera evaluations and conclusions are based on my overall experience from using cameras for my personal and professional photography work first. The test charts and various crops are provided only to back up my findings and support my claims. Does this make my reviews subjective? Absolutely. In fact, every camera review you will find on the Internet is subjective to a certain extent. It is not uncommon to come across one review that completely contradicts another by a different reviewer. Cameras, just like any other product, are prone to manufacturing defects. In addition to sample variation and quality control issues, there are many other factors such as lighting conditions, focus issues, lens imperfections, subject distance, camera shake, etc, that could potentially influence the data. Therefore, I always recommend to read multiple reviews from different sources before making a major purchasing decision.
It is important to note that I am not affiliated with any camera manufacturer, nor do I receive any fees from anyone for posting reviews.
